In today's society more and more people are concerned with performance.  That is why House of Balance is here to help you get the maximum performance out of your vehicle.

Studies have shown that balancing your engines components (crank, rods, pistons, flywheel, harmonic balancer, etc.) will increase performance by reducing friction, reducing vibration, and using less energy, which in turn produces a smoother operating vehicle.

Because our roads today permit much higher speeds than were possible fifty to sixty years ago, it becomes quite important even for older cars to do a first class balancing job.

All internal combustion engines, regardless of type or use, are balanced to factory standards (0.5 to 0.6 ounce-inches) before the are assembled at the factory.  It is easy to take factory procedures for granted and assume that the products released by them are as near perfection as modern machines can make them.  Unfortunately, that is not the case.  In many of the assembly plants across the nation, the assembler is given a large quantity of rods and pistons and randomly selects one of each to assemble on the crankshaft, not knowing the importance of having a matched set of rods and pistons.

That is why House of Balance personalizes your assembly.  We make sure that all the rotating and reciprocating  components attached to your crankshaft weigh the same, individually and collectively.  We do this by match balancing each rod and piston to insure that each component is one quarter of a gram of each other.  We then compute a bob weight, which is proportional to the mass rotating on the crankshaft and balance the assembly to a much lower tolerance (< 0.2 ounce-inches) then the factory standards. This will guarantee more horsepower and maximize your performance.
